The Association’s activities are regulated by a comprehensive set of Rules and Regulations, and these have not been amended for the past 15 years.
The Association Council therefore felt that the many changes within the historic aircraft world, and the methods of regulating that world, required appropriate amendments to the Association’s own working rules.
As a result, a working group within the Council has now examined and modified relevant parts of the old HAA Rules and Regulations. The Council and our Legal Representative have now agreed these amendments to the Rules, and the Rules can be expected to be ratified at the next Annual Meeting, which will take place in January, 2011.
The final version of the Rules, as approved by Council, can be examined as a pdf file at via the internet link below. Any questions or comments from members can be made to the Working Group Chairman, Colin Dodds, or at the January Annual Meeting.
