The HAA is greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Prince Philip. Prince Philip was an accomplished aviator, having trained on the Chipmunk and Harvard he went on to fly a wide range of aircraft, ranging from the Queens Flight aircraft to a single seat Druine Turbulent. The Prince was a keen promotor of STEM even before that term was invented and always encouraged young people to achieve more. Our thoughts go to Her Majesty the Queen and his family.
