We have been advised on a change of how interested parties can make their views known as detailed below. Henlow has a long history and is blessed with multiple grass runways which makes it an important resource for vintage aircraft. The Moth Club have used it as a base for their Forums for that reason.  The message from Central Bedfordshire Council explains the process.

Good morning,

Thank you for contacting Central Bedfordshire Council.

Further to my reply yesterday, I have now been advised of the official process for your feedback.

Representations regarding the Henlow Airfield Development should be made via our website by following the link:

http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/planning/policy/local-plan/have-your-say-2.aspx

As you moved down the page, please click on the Icon stating ‘Have your say on the Local Plan’

Below this Icon is a video explaining how to make a representation on line.

Once you are registered, further down on this page please select Policy SE4 page 78 of the plan and click on the green pencil on the left of the screen to submit you comments on the subject.

Please note this is the official way of sharing your views on the plans to ensure they are registered.

We have a final Drop in Session next Thursday 8th February at

Biggleswade Orchard Centre
Sullivan Court

If anyone would like to speak to a Planning Officer in person.

I hope this has helped with your enquiry and enabled you to share your views on this matter.
