On May 22nd, HAA President Rick Peacock-Edwards, and Chairman Wally Epton presented the HAA Conrod Trophy to ARC Manager, John Romain. Involved in Blenheim restorations for over thirty years, John led the ARC team to success, culminating in the flight of the stunning Mk1, the third Blenheim restoration which they have completed.
The whole team assembled for the ceremony, an occasion which was also marked by a flypast of the unique bomber flanked by two Mark 1 Spitfires, further examples of the fantastic output of the Aircraft Restoration Company.
