For those who which to head from the HAA Annual Meeting at Old Warden to attend the celebration of the life of of the legendary Bill Ison, Chief Flying Instructor of the Cambridge Flying Group for almost six decades, who passed away in his 90th year:
The HAA Annual Meeting at Old Warden will run from 10 till 12, thus allowing members to attend both events. The attached note from Dave Kynaston at Cambridge Flying Group provides ‘joining instructions’.
" The Celebration of the Life of Bill Ison " will take place at Marshall’ s Conference centre at 13.30 on Saturday the 19th March.
Location details are shown on the attachment and you are invited to park in the areas near the main Marshall’s Aerospace Entrance that are marked Visitor Parking. Having parked please enter the airfield via the main security gate.
Help will be available on the day and those needing special assistance should drive directly to the Security Office at the Visitors Entrance and will be provided with parking closer to the Conference rooms. I.D whilst not mandatory could assist .e.g membership card.
Please do not park at the Cambridge Flying Group car park as this will grid lock the park which is also used by two other Clubs.
