The Historic Aircraft Association 2009 Symposium at the RAF Museum, Hendon on Sunday 15th November, once again offers historic aircraft enthusiasts, pilots and engineers a chance to meet and enjoy a day of fascinating discussion.
Guest speakers this year help celebrate 100 Years of Navy Aviation, including Commander Sue Eagles of the RNHF, Dh Sea Vixen test pilot Desmond Penrose and RAF pilot Tom Eeles who went to sea with the Fleet Air Arm flying Buccaneers.
Last but most definitely not least, Lt Cmdr John Moffat (ret’d), the WW2 Swordfish pilot credited with disabling the battleship Bismarck will be our keynote speaker.
The full day of activities which includes private buffet lunch and refreshments will also incorporate a book-signing event.
