The HAA’s primary aim is to ensure that our historic aircraft can continue to fly and keep our important aviation heritage alive and seen by the general public at displays.
The operating and maintaining of these aircraft requires skills that are not so easily found today. We have a unique and so far untapped resource in the depth and breadth of experience and expertise of our members and this could be an important resource if it were made available to anyone operating and restoring these aircraft today.
It has been suggested that we compile a Technical Register of members who would be willing to share their knowledge and this Register would be held by the Membership Secretary. Information about the Technical Register will be on the HAA website and any enquiries will be directed through the Membership Secretary. NO MEMBERS DETAILS WILL BE ON THE WEBSITE.
More details and a form for those interested in being included are on the Engineering page.
