Having wanted to fly for as long as I can remember, I started learning to fly at Denham on a C150 Aerobat as soon as I left school and began working at 16. I was fortunate to have an instructor who always finished the lesson with 5 minutes of aerobatics and as I also enjoyed them he taught me aerobatics as I learnt to fly. After getting my licence, I joined a group flying a Chipmunk and also got into competition aerobatics at Standard Level using the Cessna 150.

I bought a Piper PA20 Pacer with a friend and we had an enjoyable few years flying to barbeques and fly-ins until she started her ATPL training. Through my husband being involved in display flying I had a chance to fly a Stampe and Pitts S2.

After a break for family I revalidated my licence and now fly anything I can get my hands on. I have recently enjoyed flying a Piper Cruiser, a Chipmunk, an Auster, and an SF260 and now owns a Stits Playboy.
